Items you will need
- Ink for stampers
Choose large balloons in a variety of colors, or in your company colors. You will need balloons that blow up to be 12 inches long or longer. Small balloons do not work well. When choosing the balloons choose a matching colored ribbon as well.
Have a stamp made that displays your company information. Include the address and phone number of your company. Have a second stamp made that displays a logo, symbol or saying. The stamps should be small, no longer than 2 inches. The letters should be bold, thick and solid. Order several ink pads with the stamps, of assorted colors. The ink must be quick drying.
Blow the balloon up 3/4 of the way with air. The balloon must be partially inflated to properly custom imprint it. Do not blow the balloon up all of the way. Instead of tying a knot to keep the air in, grasp the neck of the balloon tightly between your thumb and pointer finger.
Gently press the stamp onto the balloon, horizontally. Make sure that the stamp is fully inked before pressing or you may end up with letters missing or barely visible. All letters need to be full and clear. Allow to dry. Deflate. Repeat on opposite side of balloon using second stamp.
Blow up the balloons using helium. Secure the balloon with a knot. Tie a 3 1/2 foot ribbon around the knot and hand out like business cards. Tie some around the business location, both inside and out to attract customers.
Take your time to avoid mistakes.
Use care when using helium.
