How to Update DUNS Information

Dun & Bradstreet is a business that provides credit information about other businesses and corporations. Businesses that register with Dun & Bradstreet are assigned a unique number that is kept in Dun & Bradstreet's Data Universal Number System (DUNS). You must use your DUNS number to apply for many federal grants. If your business information changes, you can update your DUNS information by logging on to the Dun & Bradstreet website.

Step 1

Log on to the internet and visit https://eupdate.dnm.com. Click on "Not Registered?" to register your business and receive an eUpdate password. Skip this step if you have already registered with Dun & Bradstreet online and you already have an eUpdate password

Step 2

Enter your DUNS number into the "D&B D-U-N-S Number" field and enter your eUpdate password in the "eUpdate Password" field. Press "Log in." Wait for the page to load. Change the information in the fields and click "Save." Log out and log back in to check your changes.

Step 3

Call 1-800-234-3867 to speak with a customer service representative at Dun & Bradstreet. As an alternative to using Dun & Bradstreet's website, you can update you information over the phone. Speak to the customer service representative and relay the information you need to update to him or her.
