The U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is responsible for coordinating response to a domestic disaster. FEMA's parent agency is the Department of Homeland Security. FEMA also designates certain areas as "flood zones," and publishes flood maps of these areas. Homeowners and lenders can use this information to determine whether a home is within a FEMA-designated flood zone.
Go to the FEMA Online map search tool.
Enter the address, city, state and ZIP code of the map you want to locate.
Click "View" to display the flood map for the designated area.
