Pitney Bowes brand digital postal meters offer the convenience of postage on demand for businesses. While many models include a built-in scale, it's sometimes necessary to override the postage rate calculated by the meter for odd-size packages or mail processed at bulk rates. The user can enter the exact amount of postage required by using the control panel on the postage meter.

Press the “Clear/Back” button, located at the bottom center of the control panel keypad, several times until the LCD display shows the main screen.

Enter the desired postage amount using the numerical keys on the control panel. Enter the entire amount without the decimal point.

Press the “Enter/Yes” button, located at the bottom right-hand corner of the control panel. Print the postage as desired.
