A chiropractic radiologist is a board certified specialist who cares for patients by using radiology methods and manipulation of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Chiropractic radiologists are required to hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and must have postdoctoral training in radiology, which leads to an unofficial diploma in radiology. The job of a chiropractic radiologist falls under the broader career category of "chiropractor," the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports.

Hourly Wage

The BLS reported the median hourly wage for chiropractic radiologists and chiropractors in general was $32.31 in 2010. The lowest paid 10 percent earned an hourly wage of $15.51 or less, while the lowest paid 25 percent earned an hourly wage of $23.04 or less. The highest paid 25 percent earned an hourly wage of $46.09 or more, while the highest paid 10 percent earned an hourly wage of $69.07 or more.

Annual Wage

The median annual wage for chiropractors was $67,200 in 2010, according to the BLS. The lowest paid 10 percent earned an annual wage of $32,270 or less, while the lowest paid 25 percent earned an annual wage of $47,930 or less. The highest paid 25 percent earned an annual wage of $95,870 or more, while the highest paid 10 percent earned an annual wage of $143,670 or more.

Industry

The salary for a chiropractic radiologist varies by industry. The offices of other health practitioners industry was reported by the BLS to hold the highest level of employment for this occupation, with an estimated 24,580 jobs in 2010. Chiropractic radiologists employed in this industry earned an estimated hourly mean wage of $38.05 and an annual mean wage of $79,150. The offices of physicians industry was reported by the BLS to be the top-paying industry for this occupation, with an estimated hourly mean wage of $47.87 and an annual mean wage of $99,570 in 2010.

Geographical Location

The salary for a chiropractic radiologist varies by geographical location of employment as well. The state of Florida was reported by the BLS to hold the highest level of employment, with an estimated 2,020 jobs in 2010. Chiropractic radiologists employed in the state of Florida earned an hourly mean wage of $36.82 and an annual mean wage of $76,590 that year. The state of Alaska was reported to be the top paying state for this occupation, with an hourly mean wage of $79.32 and an annual wage of $164,980 in 2010.
