Go to AGCO’s website and complete the “Contact” screen. This is the first step in applying to be a Massey Ferguson dealer.
Click the drop-down menu and choose “Dealer Opportunities” from the list. Enter your name, business name, address, telephone numbers and email address.
Choose a time that is best for a dealer representative to contact you. Complete the form by including your occupation, referral source and business information. Type a comment stating “Please have a dealer representative contact me at his convenience.” Submit the form.
Gather your business-license and tax information, including your tax-identification number and previous year's tax return. This prepares you for the telephone interview required to become a Massey Ferguson dealer.
Answer the questions, such as how long you have operated a business and what other types of tractors you sell, when the dealer representative calls. Request an application via postal mail or email.
Complete the application. Answer the questions regarding your personal finances, business finances, such as capital gains or losses, and future business plans.
