When you fax from a computer, you don't have to print a copy of the document you send.

You can save time and save paper when you fax directly from Adobe Reader. Instead of printing a document from Reader, taking it to the fax machine and faxing it, when you have a fax printer installed, you can print directly to the fax machine.

Launch Adobe Acrobat. Select "File" and "Open," browse to where your document is stored, select the document and choose "Open."

Click "File" and "Print..." Choose the Fax Printer from the printer selection box and select "Print."

Complete the fax destination and cover sheet information according to the fax printer interface. For example, enter the recipient's name and fax number and a note to accompany the fax on the cover sheet. Choose "Print" to send the fax.
